These are my kind of Upgrades. Anything under $100 i can do. Its when there is a $3-500 tag that there is always something else at the house that needs it. Stupid Home ownership.

Some of my cheap and easy upgrades are as follows:
Ammo Box console w/ cup holders $15
X Bound Seat covers $30
Rear speaker boxes w/ cup holder $90

Prices may vary. I bought the ammo box at a swap meet and added poker table cup holders from e-bay. I bought the seat covers new from a friend that didn't want them. I bought the speaker boxes with speakers off CL but new they are a little over $100 on the web.

When I bought my YJ, it didn't have any door skins. I didn't want to pay $100+ for new ones so I cut out some cardboard, wrapped the edges with duct tape, and coated them with a can of rubberized undercoating. Less than $15 for both skins, and this picture is of them after 2 months.

Here ya go. I did this mod last week and YouTubed it. It's an easy mod and it's FREE! I really like the extra range in between fill ups. Realize a couple of things. Your fuel gauge will stay on full much longer because of the extra found fuel capacity. When you fill your tank listen for what sounds like whirling bubbles. That's the fuel getting to the top of the tank. Back off the fuel nozzle lever to slow down your fill up speed or it may puke gas out on ya before it trips the lever.

BTW .. that plastic tube can be a bit of a pain to pull out. Just giving y'all a heads up.

thanks, there is plenty of room behind the switches for the wires. thats why i chose that spot. and the rockers fit perfect there.

lol it was either that or buy a new steering colum with everything that goes with it. multifunction switch, ignition switch/key set.

Sorry I missed this post. I bolted it to the floor with two bolts inside the front and a bracket at the back to lift it up and make it somewhat level.

All my mods have been cheap because I'm a cheapskate, but here are a couple of my favorites I've done.
Homemade Hi Lift & shovel mount about $10 in hardware. Also added camo to my jack and shovel handle to match the Jeep.

And LED lighting from Amazon. Right at $100 for the 5 lights I have. I think they look great and the light output is fantastic. I get a lot of compliments on them.

Looks sweet. i want to do this in blue to match dash LED's I did. Where'd you get it? Also, did u hard wire to toggle light on door or something ease with a switch. For $10 I'm all over this, just looking for a little more detail if u don't mind.

I just replaced the courtesy lights under my dash with blue LEDs so it's lit up that way without having to use a new switch

Glad you liked the vid. I understand what you mean, I've read a few of the "How to" articles and not really 100% clear. So .. I just dove in and done it. It's really easy with the exception of that tube being a pain coming out. Hint .. once you get the tube out far enough, use a pair of channel locks to pull it the rest of the way.

I really like the mod .. it gives more time inbetween fill ups. Down side ... fill ups are now more expensive. Good luck with the mod!!

That sounds like a reasonable price for lights. Where'd you get 'em?

Not really an upgrade to the Jeep .. but an upgrade to a tool that I use to work on the Jeep. DIY magnetic socket extension:

Stage1 (cut only): free (6 screws for endcaps ehh probably have some laying around)
Stage2: <$30 Bumper repair epoxy (filler) and bedliner spray (waiting for a good day)
