Go to JC Whitney or 4wd.com. There are others too. Google is your friend. You know this is the YJ forum right?

shipping for a private owner via craigslist or anywhere for that matter would probably be a good chunk of the cost. so look for local pick up, and you can find a good deals...

i've notice places like quadratec, JC Whitney or 4wd.com occasionally offer rebates...so that could be a good idea...I'm looking right now myself for one..

And what are you considering cheap? Used cheap or new cheap

Save yourself the headache, and don't buy a "cheap" top, I spent all day yesterday weatherproofing my cheap top, and if the previous owner hadn't opted for the "cheap" one, my top wouldn't be held together via hundreds of zip ties. Do yourself a favor and find a good top for cheap, locally.

You have factory soft top hardware, so is there a reason to look for a soft top with hardware?

Because the least expensive option is to get a fabric replacement top (new "deck" and new side panels and windows), which reuses your current hardware.

If you do this, then the most expensive option is the Sailcloth Replace-A-Top from Bestop. That's the one you hear the most about.

But way less expensive would be a similar item from Pavement Ends (called a Replay Top) or similar from a competitor.

If you do really need all new hardware, then you've got more options: a Supertop from Bestop (not the cheapest), or similiar look/style from a competitor.

You could also go with a new style "bowless" top like a Trektop or similar.

The difference between a Pavement Ends top and a Bestop Supertop is fabric is thinner, window "glass" is thinner, and there is way less support - you can't get replacement parts for example.

As Cpainter is finding out, people frequently buy these when they plan to sell the Jeep soon.
