CJ7 dashboard...& more..

Hey everyone..

I got a question..

I'm wanting to get rid of this YJ dashboard junk I've been looking @ for so long, and get the CJ7 dashboard.. & gauges..

Any recommendations would be awesome..such as switches..the gauges.. because I'm swapping..so I'd keep my cd player of course..

Also..does any1 know any good headers for an LT1 ??

I'm also scared of, how my Jeep will look, with 33" tires, when I get a 4" body lift, just to run dual exhaust..

I'm in a crysis about my jeep right now as you can see.. a lot of things I'm doing on it at once, and I just need confirmation or help.. make me feel good and that it won't look dumb .....

Thanks a million!
- Blide

Dont know but I am curious as well, I love the way the CJ dash looks. As for your lift, I am running a 4" suspension and 3" body with 33" tires and I think it looks good. If you want to see any pics let me know.

Don't be offended, but you are hating the yj dash and you are going with a 4" body lift? Priorities seem a little out of whack.

ya, 4 inch body lift is nasty, i don't like the way any body lift looks, but 4. kinda excessive.
i love the cj front clip and the dash, there's another post on here about swapping the clip. i'd consider it, cuz the cj's looked awesome. but i own a yj.
if ya want a cj, get one.
but this is what makes jeep, jeep. make it your own. good luck. that will be a ton of work to make all gauges work and jeep start.
won't be very cool if nothin works.

Yeh i am purchasing a 3" body lift.. to fit the 2nd exhaust..
the dash.. man i dont like the YJ.. and i dont wanna sell this jeep after everything ive done with it, and go with a CJ.. that may not be in great shape like this one..
Too much of a gamble.. so I'm modding this 1 the way i want it i guess

I just bought a garmin GPS.. going to have my shop build a bracket for it, to integrate into the CJ dashboard...they said they'd do it for me for no additional cost..
