Im sure this has already been coverd somwhere but being and my computer isnt the fastest its hard to look around. i have a guy looking to sell me his cj7 leafs. what type of mods will i need to do to make them fit, and will they give the same lift as putting waggy springs on it?
front cj springs are only 2 inches wide. yj springs are 2.5.stock waggy springs wont lift it any just stretch the wheelbase 2 inches.a lot of cj owners want to change to yj leafs, never heard anybody swapping to cj springs on a yj. it could be done easy enough it just seems counter productive to me.
I just put waggy front springs and stock YJ rears in my 90, and i LOVE them they have awesome flex, I had a 4" RC lift and it didnt flex and rode like shit, but I'm also spring over
so if you do the waggys up front and gain that 2inch lift then how do you get two in the back with out changing the leafs or are you on a backwards rake?
