Cluster Color? Whats your opinion?

I need to upgrade my instrument cluster lights in my 1993 YJ and was thinking of going with either Blue or Green LED.
What have you found is the better color in the long run.
The Jeep is Blue with standard interior colors. (Grey/Black)

I just put red in mine but really think the blue look better but red went with what I was doing but might still go back to the blue.

I just left mine plain old white incandescent too.

If I were to change to LED, I would still keep them white.

If you want colored dash lights, I would go with blue. Not because it matches your Jeep, but because I think the blue is easier on the eyes.

Good Luck, L.M.

I kept mine white. I have had red and green in the past.

Red and green both maintain your night vision.

I would recommend against blue. Blue light wavelengths are too long to properly focus inside your eye on your retina. Blue is easy to notice, but hard to focus your eye on if you need to read it.

I would go green. Less reflection for the enemy to see and works well with NVGs. lol

Actually, I prefer the white incandescent bulbs since they are easier to dim. I keep my dash lights pretty dim usually, but every now and them I need to turn them up in twilight conditions. LEDs can be dimmed, but it is more difficult to do than just using the old-school rheostat. IMHO
