Well after replacing my slave/master cylinders and the clutch I came across the same problem. Only now there's a leak somewhere draining out my clutch fluid and found this. Do you guys see anything out of the norm? Anything helps. Thanks.

The lines coming out of the bell housing don't look new to me. Are you saying you changed the internal slave and master, or just the master on the firewall?

It's hard to tell with photos sometimes, but a closer look by you is warranted. Those two lines should have no corrosion or weathering, you should be able to tell they are new compared to the hoses around them. If they aren't new take the jeep back and get an explanation, there is no rebuild of the internal slave, it's either new or old.

I agree with Reno. Those lines don't look new at all. And a new internal slave will have new lines on it.

It's not that hard, but it does require dropping the transmission which not everyone has the tools or ability to do. If you were charged for this replacement I'd as for a refund or at least for him to drop the tranny and correct his error. If he wants to make it right, I'd be there and watch what he does. If he gave you paperwork saying he changed it out, if give him the option of refunding your money or seeing him in small claims court plus a letter to your state licensing agency.

I agree with Jokerchief. It looks like there's a leak where those lines meet. If there's no leaking around your bell housing, maybe you don't need to replace the internal slave. If the guy charged you for doing it, and didn't, that is an issue.
On another note, those older lines definitely point to the internal not being done...BUT, strangely enough, I just did my clutch, and ordered a kit that was like one year off. When we compared the internal slaves we noticed the lines of the new one had a different bend pattern to them. Luckily the lines just clip on and off, and we were able to use the old lines!

The lines can just clip on and off the internal slave, (on mine at least), but you have to drop the tranny to get at internal slave where the lines connect. I was just saying that when I replaced my internal slave, I removed the line segments that came with the kit, and clipped on the old ones. I hope I'm making sense.
