Dash lights

I did the led dash light upgrade and it really turned out great. Went with the small white leds for the turn signals, hazards, etc and red for the gauges. I was wondering if anyone that has done this is having the same issue I am having. The CEL comes on and goes off when I start it but I can still see it very faintly. Is this bleed over from another light or something else? CEL isn't flashing any codes and I don't remember seeing this before the change over. Thank you for your help.

My CEL light doesn't have a bleed over, but my Shift Light does. It's VERY dim but noticeable. The light still lights up BRIGHT though when it's time to shift

Haven't dug around into trying to fix it yet...

I think I put the shift bulb in backwards. That's the only one that doesn't work. Oh well it was annoying anyway.

Are all of those new lights dimmable with your original dash dim switch? If so, can you tell me which lights you got exactly? I'd really like to do this just worried about getting the wrong ones. Oh and what year is your Jeep?

I don't believe the dimmer switch will work other than on or off, the led take very little current to be "on", unlike a regular bulb which can be dimmed by sending less current.

Freedomguy mine is a 94. The others are right it is on or off no dimming. The red leds in the gauges are not really bright and don't bother my vision driving at night. These are the small bulbs I used for the rest of the dash.

I went with blue and it doesn't bother me. I'll post a pic of mine when I get home.
