Electric fan

Can Jeep program the ecm for a electric fan on a 1994. I've run the fan kits before, there okay. I would rather the ecm control the fan. Was there an electric fan option in that year.

I know on my silverado I can change everything from fueling to timing and everything in between, including the fans using my laptop, but that's an 2002. ecm's have come along way sense 1994.

The only thing I can think of is if there is some program out there that will allow you to add ladder lines to the ecm programming like you can on a mustang ecm. I have done that before on mine to turn a fan on at a certain temp...but I dunno if you can on a dodge ecm or not.

I could probably set up a n/o switch in the water jacket and run a relay.

I could use a relay setup for the a/c also if I was going to use it.

No big deal. I'm not a fan of the probe in the radiator setup. To much room for era.

I have designed circuits for mark 8 fans that runs the low speed on automatic via temp sensor in the block, and high speed via manual override

That sounds like the setup in my pickup.
Two fan setup out of chevy camaro from the junk yard.
One fan on low speed when cooling is needed for engine temp.
Two fans on high when the a/c is on.
One wire went to the ecm for engine temp and the other to the a/c compressor.
I was also able to set the temps I wanted for the fans in the ecm.
Works well.
