So I decided to add one more project on to my list (big surprise huh lol), I think itís a cheap and easy one to do but I wanted to make sure I have all the right stuff before I start.
My jeep is 93 2.5L and after reading a lot of posts and articles of replacing the throttle body with 4.0 one I got more interested in doing it.
My understanding is I can use pretty much:
Any throttle body from a 91-up YJ OR 87-up Cherokee
?? (I found throttle body from a 94 Grand Cherokee that is 4.0 inline 6 so I just wanted to know if I would be able to use it in my 2.5L?)
Now for replacing the gasket, I read some posts saying it should be replaced, some say that it doesnít matter! Whatís your input? My thinking is that itís cheap enough to purchase and replace all at once than go on and later find out that my jeeps idling like crazy!?
I know that I have to use all of my sensor/AIS Motor from the 2.5 and put them on the 4.0 when I replace it.
Anything else Iím forgetting?
Thanks for looking in!
