If thats the only problem it sounds like you are good to go. They are stills going to get covered with or without the stone guards.

But I'd remove them.

It's snowing a bit down here in Boulder too. But mostly just cold.
I drove my CJ today, with just the bikini top on it. It was for a photoshoot, but man, it was chilly this morning.

Yeah looks like I'll have to take off the tube doors and bikini top soon and go back to full doors and full top. Went to grab dinner last night and it must have dropped down into the mid 60's...burrrrrrr. Might have to start wearing shoes vs. flip flops too.

You all like the winter do ya me i pretty much live in the north pole (northern quebec canada) lots of days where its -45C/-49F and so much snow that my drive way is a 5-6 foot tunnel but i seen it to the telephone wires 4 times in my life. and dug down to find my car. Im really not a fan of winter but im hoping the jeep is going to like it cause i need to use it for the winter cant afford 3rd vehicle. but i got a deal on winter tires not sure if they are great are not thou. they are H235/75R15 wintercat sst and they are studded. plus i got normal rims tossed in for a total of 867$ i feel like i made out ok.

I agree with the chief, brrrrr in the 60`s??? when its in the 60`s here, top off,,
Hey Beemer, I just got an idea for ya,, heh-heh, maybe you could take some of those cute little eyebrows that they put on the older beetles, flatten `em out and put them over your headlamps,, sry, couldn`t resist,, only takes a couple of seconds to brush off your headlamps though.

Bit the bullet today and replaced the bikini top and tube doors with the soft top and full doors. It must have dropped down to the low 60s last night . . . there was dew and everything. Sad day, but I knew it had to be done.

Somehow think this is in my future this weekend. No snow but time for the top and doors....
