first time off roader

I just bought a 1993 jeep wrangler white and put 36s and put a 4" lift on it but I love my baby so much I want it to be ok on the trails is there any thing that I should get or add to keep it safe and less likly to brake something I am going to get under carriage armer but I really want to goo all out just need help lol thanks

Search this forum for a dana 35. See if you have one. You could be in axle snapping trouble if you spin a rear tire off road and it catches suddenly. Or so I've heard.

Like tanks said, the Dana 35 is your weak link. It WILL NOT handle the 36's. You call the jeep your baby, you better baby it ALOT.

The 4" suspension isnt enough to clear 36's either. Unless you keep it on the street. I have 8.5 inches of lift with a set of 35's on mine, and i can get it to rub the tires very easily. Do the math, 36" tires are 8" taller than the stock tire that came on the vehicle, add in the factor of body roll since you are sitting taller, and you would need atleast 10" of lift to clear 36's without them rubbing at some point.

Just my point of view, i'm sure there are others out there that will disagree with me, but, if i spent 250-300 per tire, the last thing i want to happen is being in an off camber spot where my body is going to take a chunk out of that expensive piece of rubber.

Tj flares will give you some much needed clearance.
I wouldn't go larger than 33's with what you have.
Also, add a slip yoke eliminator and get a front driveshaft out of a cherokee cut and balanced to the proper length. (Probably about $400 together).
Pull your trackbars and put quick disconnects on the front swaybar (about $8 diY - search google, lots of info on it).
