I bought my first jeep wrangler (1995 YJ Rio Grande) a little over a year ago and have been reading this forum since. We finally upgraded our internet at home and I can finally post now. I have read some very helpful and equally interesting information on here over the last year and I love how everyone is definately eager to help.
I live in the country and drive only five miles to a small town in Kansas to teach. The old soft top and 18 mpg was perfect for the short distance. A little drafty during those cold windy winter mornings, but still loved driving the jeep. Well I just found out in May that I have to drive an additional 18 miles to teach in another town in our district the last half of every day. Debated getting a car for the drive, but my wife new how much I loved my jeep and we decided to 'keep it till it dies'. It only had 78,000 miles on it when we got so thankfully it's still low on miles 82,000 now.

Just purchased full hard doors and a hard top to better equip for winter.
Have a 1.5" Rough Country lift to create to create a smidge more clearance. We haven't installed it yet, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
Installed used bushwacker fender flares.
