^ I've heard those have a problem with rusting.

I'd highly recommend metalcloak fenders

Sometimes you get what you pay for. They may be expensive, but they are better quality, better looking (imo), and will give you more clearance.

Can you weld/fab? There are some vendors that make kits. Check eBay - I know I saw them there at one point.

Most likely route I will take. Just can't see sinking that much cash on fenders. Lots of other goodies I'd buy lol.

E-Autogrilles on E-Bay. Unless you are going to really rip on it, I don't see why they would not hold up. I just finished my install and they are pretty tough. Short coming would be the powder coating. Construction was above what I expected for the price. I was able to get all bolt holes to line up without any modifying of the fenders too. $220.00 shipped.

Next project; Fozzy locked d30 with ten factory axles, powertrax no-slip for the 8.8. $$$ I need to either get a new job or ditch the girlfriend to support this thing....

you can trim them for free until you save up for a nice set.. that's what I did and now I've ditched any plans to change them out lol. it's good to have that saved $ for parts you really need

Got some rust behind both tires from the flares trapping moisture/debris. Figured new fenders might as well be flat.

I'd go with CC Fab on eBay. I love mine, great quality.

I have the Smittybilt no flare fenders. Put them on as a replacement for rotted stock fenders. No rusting whatsoever. Looks good and just as solid as any other steel fender.

Going with Metalcloaks one day but I've been very happy with the Smittybilts.
