Frameless soft tops

I purchased a rampage Frameless top about 3 years ago and it's pretty much done for. The straps that secure to the rollbar have torn away, the door frame zippers no longer work correctly and the top is pretty stretched. I can probably milk another summer out of it but I will need to replace it before next winter.
Has rampage upped their quality over the last couple of years? Almost immediately little things started happening with the top that bothered me, but the window zippers not working has sealed the deal.
Are there better Frameless tops on the market?

3 years is pretty weak, unless you abuse it I would think. Never had a frame less, but I get 7-10 years out of cheap qtec, and achilles. Got 7 yr out of my top I replaced last summer, and it spends alot of time on, in the sun, and folded, full of sand in the sun. I do m as ke repairs as needed. I have learned how to stitch seams and zippers pretty good.

The main top is still in OK shape, but straps and zippers keeping everything together failing is piss poor. I'd rather not give rampage anymore of my money.

I feel ya. My soft top I ripped off was Rampage, utter garbage. I put a Rampage Frameless on in October last year, much to my despise (it seemed to be my only decent price option).

This Rampage is surprisingly nice... Seals well, straps look really high quality I do notice the ones I see on the road are held together with bungee cords... Only time will tell but this felt really high quality for what I was expecting.

Trektop is supposed to be coming out with a super-duper version of their fastback top. I don't know how much it's going to cost, but the video makes it look pretty cool.

That's pretty slick but I doubt that they will make one for us lowly yj owners.

D'oh! I've really gotta start making sure I'm in the right forum before I fire off a reply.

I'm probably going back to a shmittybuilt..for a fraction of the cost of the frameless. I got about 5 years out of my current one and unlike a hardtop they all will fail at some point so why spend top dollar? I like the simplicity of the frameless and the fastback look but it's considerably more if I'm not mistaken?

Lowest I've seen it is around 420 shipped. Maybe could find it cheaper if I scoured eBay or Amazon for a few months. Luckily I don't need one right away so I have some time to look. If I were to go back to a traditional top I'd need to source a frame. I mucked my last one up on a wheeling trip which is why I went frameless.

I ordered a rampage frameless top two summers ago and I was surprised at the quality as well. Mine has held together great. I have had zero issues with straps, snaps, or zippers. However, I store my soft top in the winter time. Not sure if that would make a huge difference or not...
