Front Axle Upgrade Yj

LOOKING FOR A FRONT DANA 44 OR BETTER FOR MY YJ. WHICH VEHICLES DO I TARGET.JUST INSTALLED FORD 8.8 IN REAR NOW WANT SOMETHING JUST AS STRONG FOR FRONT. HAVE A 350 V-8,NV4500 TRANS,8.8 REAR WITH STOCK 4.10's. WILL A FRONT DIFF FROM RUBICON WORK IF I CUT OFF ALL BRACKETS.HAVE 33's PLAN ON 35's

yes it will work. but the d30 isnt as weak as some make it out to be. i have a cj5 in my shop right now with a chevy350, manual trans, d44 rear and d30 front with 35-15-15 swamper tsl's tires its surviving. im not saying dont upgrade im just saying in my opinion they arnt that bad

I believe the early broncos had the right Axel.

Depends on which rubicon axle you get.. The TJ's would be closer to the correct size. the JK ones are wider and have a different bolt pattern, but cost far less built complete from the factory.
