front driveshaft lengths?

After adding another 2" to the front w/ a SRS system, my front driveshaft was a little shoter and after a year of wheelin it like that I finially pulled the front out and destroyed the shaft.
I'm going to go to the wrecking yard tomorrow but was wondering if there was any difference in length between the 4 and 6 cylinders and auto or manual?
I have a 4 cylinder.
Thanks
Cory

With a SRS you need a long travel driveshaft. A longer shaft won't fix it, your just going to compress the shaft past the compressed length of it and break the front half of your 231.
