:rip:

Well...

I "think I" officially sold the 1991 Red Renegade. 6000.

The buyer is coming to pick it up tomorrow.

I had it listed at 6500.

Gonna miss you guys.

Not to sound like a d*ck.

I have no idea what you're saying.

Well, good by, you know YJs are not for every body, if I only had one car it would be a YJ, I really love that little Jeep but then it's just too little for all I do, so later on you may want another and you know where we are, so-long!
I'll be back for sure.

I didn't like my renegade when I bought it, but it really grew on me. If I do get another jeep, and I will.

I'll get a CJ or a TJ. I've had a YJ.. time to try something else.

I did not. I sold it to a middle-aged gentleman who use to have a renegade and had a daughter. He sold it to his brother/brother-in-law for a deal, and the brother proceed to sell the car for a profit.

He hit me at 5000, then 5500, then 5750, and finally I said I'd take no lower than 6000.

He came and test drove it today. He was happy, him and his wife were kinda talking about it. I said, "I'm going to go over here, I want you guys to talk and not tip-toe around about if you want it or not. I'll let you guys decide without me hovering over."

So.. about 5-10 minutes later I came back and they decided that they'll take it.

At 6000.. I don't make any money.. but I didn't lose any money on the car either. I've basically gotten 12,000 miles without losing any money.

I worked on the car myself, I learned a lot, and I'll be back.

Jeeps are forever in my heart.

I found a classic thunderbird I'm interested in.

Well, I bet the last three days for you have been really boring without a jeep.

YJ or older .... nothing newer for me.

TJ and above, they began to make them to complicated.

I guess to soften them up to have more appeal to the masses.

My next buy will be a military vehicle, in fact going to a military vehicle rally today to look at a few.

I would love to buy a jeep-in-a-box .... but they probably no longer exist.

I guess I'm the 'middle aged gentleman' who got Gulrok's renegade. Not sure if anyone ever called me that before, but I guess there is a first time for everything... I did have the same YJ before, bought it new in 2001 and sold it 9 years later. My first post here, so I guess this is more of a hello than goodbye, especially that Gulrok already got another jeep... I came across this forum looking for a good place to get advice on soft top and other parts, and looks like I found the right place. More posts will follow.

Gurlok is a great seller BTW.

Hey sorry.

I didn't mean to offend you if I did.

I just meant that I think it went to a good home.

I also asked 01_renegade that if he ever decided to sell it... to at least offer me it again.
