Half door/soft top recomendations?

May I ask for some recommendations and opinions on half doors and soft tops please? I have a hard top regular door set up right now...

First, half doors.... hard or soft? Which do you have and why the preference? I'm assuming cost is one big consideration and then ease of taking them off and storing them for when ya wanna ride around naked..(the Jeep not the driver)

Soft top. What's the easiest/convenient/tightest fitting etc?

Thanks in advance.

Half doors soft upper door skins from Bestop. Bestop IMHO is the best on the market. my top is 5 or 6 years old and still holding up good. I have them because that is what came on the Jeep. I want to go to a hardtop because my Jeep is my DD and I hate being cold in the winter and the soft top does't hold heat well. As for door storage they make carts and stuff but I usually just take the lower hard doors to my room and lay them on my bed and I leave the soft upper doors in the garage with my rear side windows.

Sell your hard top! IMO a hard top in Texas is a waste, it prevents you from enjoying the open air freedom at the spur of the moment. I'm a big fan of the bowless tops from Softtopper. Also, half doors are the way to go, much easier to remove and store

X2 on selling your hardtop. You will probably be better off with just a soft top.

i have soft uppers/hard lowers. i really dont like the uppers as they get to flapping in the wind pretty good at highway speed and i don't like that they have to be zipped down. looking into hard uppers. right now i have my hard doors and hard top on and i looooooooove my roll up windows hahahaha

You can end up paying the same amount of $ on either full or upper hard doors. I prefer the look of half doors ( gives it more of a rugged look) I do plan on getting full doors and a hard top some day but I will always have my upper hard doors and softtoper, love the versatility of uppers and the softtoper. I want the hard top and full doors cause winter sucks ass here in Kansas!!!!
