hand grooving at's?

Ive got some 35x 12.5 x 15 BF goodrich all terrains and Im wondering if I could hand groove them for a little bit of mud, or if I should just try to sell them for about $400 ive only got 2 tires for the rear and they are practially new so Im just wondering what would be better? im gonna get 2 new tires for the front pretty soon and i want them to match, I just dont wanna get stuck in a little bit of mud with some all terrains if I can just cut my losses and set some mud terrains. There is a good ammount of mud here around northeast Tennessee but im wanting to start playing in some rocks
