Borla, Clifford Performance, Pacesetter. Are your only options. Borla has a great warranty.
Pacesetter is ok but I had issues with welds on one on my TJ I had. Lots of cj guys run the Clifford header. I'll probably go that route when I get a header for my YJ
I ran a Borla header on my XJ 4.0 and really liked it. I did get replacement exhaust sections twice due to the hanger failing. They sent me a brand new one each time under warranty and I sent the broken one back in the same box. I unfortunately had to go with a cheapo from e-pay when my YJ header cracked. With kids now I don't have a Borla budget. The cheap one has held up fine though.
I'd steer clear from borla. The welds they make to seal the door on them are known to fall off. Then exhaust leak. They will replace them but if you're a dyi guy like me. The extra work sucks when you took the leap and spent extra money.
I've been running Borla for over 10 years with no problem. California changed the rules on the placement of the 02 sensor and Borla sent me a new one no charge.
Best advice do your research...dont buy a cheap ebay no name header...its a pain to have to change it out...especially cause you cheaped out.
I have run pacesetter for years no problems, then that Jeep was totaled, now im running the newer style Banks.
