Headlight alignment

Hey guys. I've replaced my stock sealed headlights with some aftermarket replaceable H3/4 units. Can someone give me some guidance for aiming these to achieve the most optimal position?

Park your jeep at a level ground. Then from your headlights measure 25' to the wall. Now project your headlights at the wall and make sure they are in a straight line.

I was always taught a different method. Park 40' from a wall on level ground. Turn the headlights on and they should be centered where the wall meets the ground. Meaning half your light on the pavement and half on the wall. The left headlight should be centered with the left wheel, and the right head light should overlap the left headlight but be centered about two feet right of the passenger wheel.
