Hello new member with like always ques..

Hello I am a new member first I want to say hello to everyone..

I own a 92 wrangler that I just bought.. (new to me)

My question is I am pretty sure by using the search that my jeep has the original soft top (best top). Is there a way to lower or collapse the roof. I was looking at the top and it looks like it might be possible to collapse the whole top like a convertible top.. I hope this is not a stupid question and if it is sorry..

by the way I am sure I will have more stupid questions for you soon.. LOL thanks

nolo

Yes, your soft top does collapse, completely, like a convertible. Not sure of the exact process, but it does collapse. Have a hard top on the daily driver, and just a bikini, on the trail rig.

You're soft top is not original to the jeep. Pavement Ends was the OEM top until the TJ. You have an after-market. Also, it will only fold up like a convertable if you have the best top supertop with the right framework. If you have the original frame, it will not fold up. Post a pic, and we can tell you for sure.
