HELP. Can I put tow hooks right in the holes on my stock bumper?

Would that be alright? Or do I have to do some drilling and such? Also, there is so receiver whatsoever for a tow hitch in the back of the Jeep. I figured there would be. Would I have to weld one on?

Tow Hooks: Yes you can, a lot of companys sell hooks that are a direct bolt fit to the stock bumper, and they will come with longer bolts too.

If your Jeep has a receiver hitch then it will be bolted into the rear cross member and should be located just beneath your rear bumper/bumperetts.

you want to bolt the hitch on, not weld. also be sure to get grade 8 bolts for the tow hooks vs the typical grade 5 bolts most come with.

HELP. Just bought these tow hooks and don't understand.

I just bought these tow hooks, but they come with two bolts, but my bumper has holes that run parallel, and obviously I don't want to run the tow hooks sideways. Do i just use one bolt or do I need to drill another hole? I thought they were universal.

Anyone have any experience with the rear receiver hitches that are attached to after market bumpers? Such as this one:

I've got that same bumper and was curious about how functional it was, also what I can do about tow hook options. It came with the Jeep I got.
