If you want to get "new age fancy" its really easy to adapt the JK's automatic sway bar disconnect to a YJ

edit: omg all the pictures are gone...

edit edit: and the dealers hiked the price from $80 - $1800??? never mind this sounds like a bad idea now
The YJ is in Rebuild Mode

Check at 4wheel Drive Hardware or Quadratec. I have Rubicon Express YJ disconnects, but they came with my 2.5" lift I just had installed. Need to know the length to order correct for your lift.

Sway Bar Connections

This will take care of your needs for now and after the lift. After the lift you *will* to re-adjust them.

Superlift Suspension 5068 - Superlift Anti-Sway Bar Quick Disconnects for 87-06 Jeep® Wrangler YJ, TJ & Unlimited with 3"-6" Lift - Quadratec

A spot of advice, learn why someone would want to dis-connect the sway bars, and what that can do for you on the trail.
