how to tell witch one you have?

How do you tell if your yj jeep is the Canada version vs. The american version? Ik there's both but id like to know witch on I have. I just don't know how to tell!

Your vin will say where it was made, not sure if they had a canada line, seems like i heard that somewhere along the way. First digits 1, 4, & 5 are the US. 2 is Canada, 3 is Mexico (for all you GM owners).

Actually, after asking my friend, Mr. Google, he said:

Figure 11 tells the assembly plant.

And yes, there was a Canadian plant. Figure 11 is J, seems like thatd make it Canadian to me, but idk for sure.

L, P, and T mean Toledo plant 1, Toledo plant 2, and Toledo respectively.

Thanks for that link! Theres a model that the odomitor reads km. It seems like mine racks up quickly.

Happy to help. Mine racks up quick too, maybe I can convince myself its in kilos... then I can justify driving more... hmmm....

different size tires will do this to depending if they are smaller or larger than stock.

With my 33's, its 50mph on the dash and Im really doing 55mph, my mileage will actually show less than it really has as it adds up.

Ya that sounds about right I got 33s and same thing 50mph on the dash but im really doing about 55. I checked with a gps.
