Talking I just fell in love

As i was sitting here watching this cj8 scrambler being built on extreme 4x4. they put a aluminum body on this rig and polished it. OMG do you have any idea how awesome that is. does anyone know where a guy can find a schematic to build say a body for a yj. I guess i could remove my body strip it and try to match it. Oh my what a project that would be. I have to put the brakes on myself here i just remebered why i like jeeps again you dont have to spend 3 hours every weekend polishing. I hate polishing. i could get a buffer thou most of the parts would be flat. Sorry thinking and typing at the same time. Oh and this body costs 5k to buy plus im sure i cant get it here in canada so that would be like another 1k for shipping im guessing. I need to make more money. but man i love that look. So bad a$$.

What about stainless steel?

You could polish that once every two years!

Still would weigh the same though, Aluminum is much lighter.

Stainless was used on the DeLorean, like the one in back to the future.

They polish Airstream trailers like that also. Steel can be polished, it just takes more time. Knife blades are steel.
