I need help

I have a 1994 YJ and the shift knob is rusted I'm trying to twist it off like my 4X4 knob but it won't come off anybody have any ideas on how to take this thing off 😭😭😭😭

not sure but I think you pry of the plastic insert that has the shift pattern and there is a lock nut under it assuming you have a manual trans

There is a lock nut under the shift knob. It has wrench flats on on it. Loosen the nut (clockwise) and the shift knob will spin off (counter clockwise).
91 2.5 5 spd
Stock, for now
