I need help finding parts

I have a 1989 jeep wrangler 6 cylinder. I am trying to get through emissions in Arizona and have been told that there are missing parts going from the catalytic converter up to the air breather. The parts I think I need are the air control valve and a check valve. I have been told these parts are no longer available. Any ideas?

I would check your local laws 89 is grandfathered out here in NY. Emissions here only relates to 95 and up OBD2 If you definitely do need them try Napa or Quadratec they should have them. Junkyard or EBay may be worth a shot too.

i have the egr valve, if thats one you need. it is bolted to the end of your intake and looks like a big disc hanging sideways. it has a line going to it.

its on the bottom right, under the black hoses

here it is

took it off mine last weekend for a performance intake

No grandfather in Az. Did check with Quad they had a check valve but not the air control valve did not check NAPA. Talked to the guy at Willy Works in Tucson and he said Chrysler does not make the parts anymore best luck would be used parts if you can find them. Just need someone to point me in right direction on used parts, none in Tucson.

Try www. Teamgrandwagoneer.com They have all kinds of discontinued parts, and for many different jeeps. Worth a look anyway.

I've got all that junk on the 1990 YJ 4.2 I going to be pulling out in a month or so, but I'm so busy I can't get to it now, if you can wait for a while you can have it, if you pay the shipping from Louisiana. Email me nubby55@gmail.com

Pulse Air System

You probably need most of the parts that go with the Pulse Air System. I live in Richmond Va, and at first thought I would need to put all those parts on, but found out other wise. I have the two metal tubes (14 and 15) that run from the air cleaner to the two check valves (1 and 2 in the drawing, which I have both sets), I have the solenoid (part #7) on the photo with the bracket (8), as well as the vacuum relay switches that are not shown. Also there is the HP lo and high switch (mounts to the firewall).
Parts (1, 2, 14 and 15) are brand new, with the selonoid being used, as well as the vacuum relay swithces (not pictured). Also there is a vacuum routing switch that sits on top of the valve cover which I have two of. You only need one.
Additionally there are several backflow preventer valves (little plastic things) that I did not get. I also have the stock air cleaner (wanted to put it on my weber, but gave up), air duct from the cleaner to the radiator core support, and pre-heater hose from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner.
It is definitely a mountain of parts, hoses, and wires and can be pretty intimidating to install if you can't follow the schematic.
Send me a PM if you are interested.
