is this worth it?

I have really been wanting to buy a hard top for a while now due to Miami's unexpected rain. My soft top leaks too much, so I just want to bite the bullet and get a hard top. Also, when it doesnt rain, the weather is great for topless so Id figure Id just throw my bikini top on when I take the hard top off. Im in the market now for a hard top and found a guy selling one locally with a set of hard half door slider windows. I love the look. Im going this weekend to check it out. He's asking $950, got him down to $820 with a roll bar swap (he wants my family style, I want his sport style).

What do you guys think? Good deal?

top appears to be in excellent shape, if it looks as good in person I'd say thats a good price with the sliders. the sliders alone usually bring around 400.00 used.

It's the nature of the market.I've been trying to buy a hard top for my YJ and a hard top for my Miata. Both used to be $250-400 each in good shape. Now both are $1000 plus!

Any reason why you dont want to get a new soft top that wont leak as opposed to a used hard top?

I just feel if I get a soft top it's going to be a matter if time before it leaks again.

As a Miami/Keys native, I assume that you have A/C?

Because if you don't, that will be a 4X4 Microwave.

In great shape, that's a little more than what I see up here price-wise....but it's almost a must have in SoFlo. The rain is beyond intense down there.

I have the entire AC system ready for install as soon as i buy this top and set of sliders. You know what I mean with this rain down here ha, it's ridiculous. But when the weather is nice, boy is it nice ha
