Jeep Chicago Edition?

I have been trying to find any info about this but have yet to find anything. I asked my salesman at Jeep dealer that I got my JK from and he had no idea but they aren't always encyclopedias of all things Jeep so that wasn't a surprise.
So I bought this YJ a while back and a week later before picking up the YJ I bought a TJ. I already had another Jeep in the stable (53 M38A1) so I left the YJ sit until my buddy asked if I was gonna go pick it up from dealer it was sitting at. I knew if I brought another Jeep home the wife would have skinned me. Lol. She had already come home from the 3day cancer walk to the Willys in the garage.

So anyway I went picked it up and gave it to my buddy.
It is a 90 YJ Chicago Edition
6cyl Auto with now about 90k on the clock.
Does anyone know anything about what the "Chicago Edition" is? Never seen anything like it.

Probably something a local dealer put together when it was new. It's not a factory package.

I agree with Tig, I don't think it's factory. So you have a M38A1, YJ, TJ and JK? I like the way you think!
Also have a 1960 CJ3B in the shop for a motor swap then I'll lead it down the long road to a total restoration.

I have been wanting to get a nice example of a CJ7 for a while just haven't had the money to do that yet with so many projects and kids and hobbies tugging at my wallet. Not to mention now the wife wants her own FN FiveSeveN and she wants it done in Tiffany Blue. Lol. I bought her a air weight S&W in ..38spl but she doesn't enjoy shooting it but fell in love shooting my 5.7 so she wants her own. Can't argue with that. I'll never argue with buying more guns. Lol.

Thanks for the input. I never thought about it being a dealer "option" since I rarely see that type of additions to cars these days.
