Jeep Essentials

I keep a set of tools(some wrenches and screwdrivers) fire extinguisher, mag lite, a knife, some Paracord, and a shovel in my Jeep. I am curious what everyone else keeps handy. I am sure there are some obscure items that people keep that are fairly handy. Share yours

I keep a blanket- use to do it for in the winter in case I was stranded without heat. But learned that after an accident victims of shock need to be. Kept warm to prevent comatosis.

Recovery gear, leather gloves, First Aid kit, 4 bottles of water, Jumper Cables, flashlight, Multi-tool, Walking stick (check my Trailblazer Post in my Sig), and a Blanket that folds into a small Pillow at all times.

Under my Trailblazer Sig, I Carry my belt and Gerber Survival Multi-Tool at all times (so it's in the jeep with me).

When I go trailblazing, I throw in my Survival Knife, my "Fanny Pack" from my Trailblazer Post and my Collapsible Fishing pole in case I find a good spot

Love the walking stock idea. What did you make it out of? What do you use for your home made fire starters

The Fire Starters:
Bought a Block of wax at GoodWill for like $1. Enough to make about 12-15 of my DIY Cubes. Melt the wax. Fill a METAL ice tray with cedar shavings. Add melted way to each "cube" then top it with a piece of cotton (rub a SMIDGE of Vaseline into the cotton. Don't drown it just rub a little in). Let dry. The "Ice cube" ones last about 15-20 minutes. The bigger experimental ones I have last about 30-45 minutes. I used a small glass "jar" I found in Goodwill for those.

The Walking Stick is Basic PVC Pipe. It supports my 230lbs just fine. I mean I wouldn't use it as a crutch, but as a walker it works just fine. Can use the entire length to "pry bushes" or keep something at bay or split it in 2 and use em as "weapons" They still PVE pipe though lol. I made the saw blade out of a Saw-Zall, JB Weld, and a couple Electrical Conduit Accessories. I got a writeup SOMEWHERE on my Cd's. The Camo Bandages stiffen it up decently and keeps UV off of it. The Saw unscrews from the bottom and slides into the stick for storage. The stick also doubles decently for a Fishing pole AND one end is Waterproofed to act as a cup for water.
