Jeep Family

After talking on the phone with a YJ owner in Gaum that I met on the forum while trying to help him with a few Jeep issue's .
It made me realize that when you own a Jeep and belong to this forum that no matter where in the world you live your Jeep family is only a thread away.
Thank you all who have helped me in the past and will be there in the future ( God knows we will always be doing something on our Jeeps).

It really is Jeep thing.

That's a nice story. Thanks for sharing. I also want pictures of Wranglers in Guam, if you talk with your friend - excuse me - family member, again!

Hey John ( big orange ) I was talking about Kyle ( anklenawer ) he is on duty there with the navy.
But Georgia is heck 1200 miles from me...lol
I have been racing and riding motorcycles all my life and have always had that family network around the world and I have had Jeeps since I have been able to drive and both the Jeeps and Bikes have a following ,fellowship and family bonding that I have never seen with any other rides.

Hey J D ,
I started riding in 67 at age 4 and at 6 started doing local flat track then in 72 I was picked up by Honda Motor Sports N A and raced the cr 125 in 74 I switched to moto cross and raced at the pro level in the ama ( they were the only game then) for 16 years. Now at 46 I have my own track built on my ranch and teach riding for the motorcycle safety foundation dirt bike school at all levels.
The only races i still do is in springfield every july at the Red Bull grand nationals where I meet all my all buddies and ride hard all weekend and act like my back is not killing me the whole next week when my 26 year old wife shakes her head at me...lol
If you do a google earth search of 383 soring eagle wichita falls texas 76310 you can see my track ( and yes I have gone over the jumps in my Jeeps..lol not a smart idea)
I have all sorts of bikes now for dirt and street racing.

Been there, what a great place to do some wheelin.
Kyle, you gotta take some pictures and post 'em.
The club at Polaris Point...I helped build that, among other things.
I even found a piece of the copper nose of a torpedoe while snorkeling.
There was a really cool bar north of the base, forget the name, but really laid back, pig roasts, outside bar, fights every night. Awesome place.
I had a blast on Guam.

Hey Kyle if you need some help/advice, head over to the Seabee camp, hit the club, ask around for the CM's, (Construction Mechanics).
You should have no problem finding someone to run your questions past.
Wave a suitcase of beer around and they'll probably do the wrenchin for you.
Give it a shot. What have you got to lose?
Which base you on over there?

Ok here's what you do...
Get that buggy running, take it down to hotel row and charge the tourists to go out wheelin.
You could be rich in a month.
Sound good?

I went to Piti Middle school and Oceanview in Agat. Surfed Boat Basin a lot and Magundas off the breakwater, almost drowned there once. Talafofo was good at some times just for craps.
