The name should just kind of come to you and you'll know! From the sounds of it though, I'd think "The Colonel" or something of the sort would probably be appropriate.

I don't know if you have discovered your Jeep's name yet, but I figure I could share how mine got it's name. I started going 4 wheeling about 3 years ago. I started using a CB radio shortly after (primarily for the look of the antenna, but then for the usefulness of it). I was gifted the CB handle "Zeus". Since that time I have addressed myself over the radio as Zeus, and the name then got transferred to become the name of my Jeep! TL;DR: in short, my CB handle is my Jeep's name.

If you wanted a name based off of looks/attitude if it's matte green with a tan top I'd go with Green Goblin. My jeeps name is Gunny I made it up on the fly earlier today. I also have a 93 Cheyenne p/u color red/orange I call her Valerie aka "The Red Menace" and my fathers 93 Cheyenne is white and I call it the "White Stallion" I'd say go with your gut if you have too do some research online write down a list of different names and the first one that grabs you sticks

When I bought my red renegade, one of the first songs on the radio was "Ruby" by Dion....I started calling her Ruby...everyone thought I meant Rubi (like Rubicon).....at a crawling event I noticed there were Zero YJ's other than myself, it clicked to change the name to RubY-J....it has stuck ever since.

I've owned 2 Cherokees and 2 Grand Cherokees and all have had the same name. Now I have what my kids refer to as a "real Jeep" (they have a point). This guy has been with me the whole time and lived in my garage for the last 8 years waiting for another Jeep to call home so I guess it's Eugene (the Jeep) IV.

I just picked up a red 90 YJ a few weeks ago. Bought a tan Bestop for it off CL for $50 to replace the hardtop. I have some dark green Oliver tractor paint that I am going to use after I do a little cancer removel. So I named it Oliver. Figured it matched the paint and Oliver (sp) from Green Acers. He always seemed to have trouble with old crap breaking down too!

I call mine the Blue Ox. Anybody remember the kids story Paul Bunyan? He had a blue ox named Babe, always dependable and faithful. Couldn't call it babe the wifey would go for that .

Mine is Rocky, as an ode to the four angry squirrels that live under the hood.

I don't normally name my cars but I made an exception for my YJ. It's "Money Pit". Since your Jeep is green and tan, like the color of money, you're more than welcome to use the name. Believe me, it will become very clear as time passes.

Dunno... names are for boats.
If the Jeep got a name, then pretty soon, all the rigs would want names.

But be careful.
I waited too long to name my Hobie Cat and now it thinks that its name is "Oh Shit!"
