junk yard axles.

I went to the junk yard today looking for a shift fork for the dana 30 vac actuator. No such luck finding anything for a wrangler. Although I found at least 10 cherokees. My question is, can I replace my front axles/suspension with cherokee coil over axles? would that give me a lift? which axles are better for wheelin? If I cant use the cherokee axle where would I get a shift fork? Thanks a lot. I need my front axle back in action. Its not to fun wheelin in 2 wheel drive. Thanks a lot!!!!

Just convert your 2 section shaft over to a 1pc and be done with it. You will of course need a 1pc shaft and a new inner seal located where the vacuum box is. I think any TJ or XJ dana 30 shaft should work or if you want you can upgrade the shafts with after market ones. Also older xj's used the vacuum disco I thinking pre 91 or pre 93s, not sure if the fork is the same size though.
