Last week I picked up the second YJ I've ever had... the first one being an 88 or 89 IIRC, bought and sold it years ago. It took a while to find this one as in my neck of the woods, Wranglers tend to be pricey. While the odo had lots of miles, it looks as though a lot of them were spent behind an RV. The only leak I've found is from the rear main seal; I'll have to get that done before I can take it out on the trails. Otherwise, it's stock with the exception of an aftermarket hard top (which is up for sale on Craigslist and my local 4X4 forum) and a trailer hitch.
So far, all I've gotten done is to rip out the dry rotted carpeting and scrub it out with a bucket of soapy water, then replaced the drain plugs that I pulled with plastic plugs to make the job easier next time. After I get the main seal done, all of the more routine maintenance items - belts, hoses, fluids, filters - will get their turn.
I was sorry to have needed to let my first YJ go, glad to have another!
