Just had to do it

I just got my 95 wrangler and I was curious if 31"s would rub or not. I have a brand new set of Firestone Destination A/Ts from my Cherokee that I sold. They are mounted on plain black steel wheels that are apperently backspaced because when they were on my Cherokee they didn't rub at all.
I have been trying to sell these and get a set of aggressive 235's or 30's but I decided to just try putting them on and see what they look like and how they do.
They are great! Just like on my Cherokee, they don't rub when steering is maxed out or over bumps. I can't say anything about off road because I havn't taken it off yet, I will get back to you on that.
I would still like to do like a 1" shackle lift then maybe a 1" body lift soon.
Overall I am impressed and happy with the result.
Here are some pics:

Mine only rub just a little off road when maxed out but it's not too bad.

You know its a whole lot easier just to cut the fenders off instead of beating them off.

Lol. I was wondering if anyone ran their rig fender flareless, I was looking through pics but all of them either had the plastic fenders or if they were removed they had something else done like cut out metal or flat fenders.
Has anyone just taken off the plastic fender flares?

once you take the flares off.. your going to get road spray when its wet out.. not to mention road muck/dirt flying up on your windows all the time...

Would look like crap if you ask me but you could bondo and sand down the holes but even then eh.

Oh yeah, duh. There are going to be holes.....forgot about that
Yeah not the way I want to do this Jeep. On my Cherokee when I went to take the flares off the first bolt broke, then the second, third, then I just ripped it off and continued to rip the rest of them off, I was trimming anyway so I didn't care.
Like I have said, I want to do this jeep right, cutting corners in the past with my Cherokee left me spending alot more money and time with it than I should have.
I will probably keep these on and maybe do some trimming to the flares themselves if I run into problems.
