I did laugh my a** off.
This "Chadwick" seemed to be playing naive as well. Like he was yanking all of your chains in return...
...he could not distinguish between submerged Jeep and submerged girlfriend right away...

Is that like the Abomb in SC?

I think this was a circle jerk by the original poster. If you drive into a pond, it seems unlikely that you'd get far enough to submerge the entire vehicle unless you fell off a steep drop off. He had time to shut it down and get out before it went all the way under. Hmmm? Sounds FISHY to me.

I actually submerged a 2000 ZR2 Blazer. Basically one hole covered my windshield /w mud and redirected me 45 degrees left in another hole which covered my hood. A TJ rubicon pulled me out. The 4.3 actually ran better for the year I had it after words I couldn't kill that engine. Just put some HEAT in it let it set for a week and it ran fine.

Needless to say my offroad toy now is a Jeep.

No, but I also did not have a snorkel, I had a K&N. every thing that mattered was under water, except the sunroof, including my power seats and power windows which surprisingly worked while under water.
