Talking just wants some ideas

i have a 1994 jeep wrangler with a 4.0L and 5 speed.

i was told when i got it that it has a 2 inch body lift and it has 32 inch tires with the bigger fender flares. chrome grill, front and back bumpers, and mirrors. (i dont really care for all that much chrome but it came like that and everyone else seems to think its cool).

it came with a soft top and half doors. and i bought a hardtop and full doors, just need to get the doors painted.

i just wanted some ideas of what i could do to it, performance wise and looks.

if you dont have to worry about crazy restrictive tire coverage laws, then id say put stock flares back on it. might make it look a little more aggressive if thats what you want.

I think you are right. To much chrome. I am willing to help you out. Just send me your bumpers.

J/K Nice looking Jeep. 1 Question, what is mounted to the bottom of the dash above the temp gauge?

I have those fenders...but I have no lift yet with 31X10.50s and deeper wheels, so it fills up the wheel wells and looks really nice. I might even get around to posting pictures eventually I say if you want an aggressive look, not saying you do, get rid of that body lift for a 1.5'' suspension lift and some deeper wheels..it will look much more aggressive, if be a little less capable off road because of limited front suspension flex because of the 32's. I'm planning on putting a ford 8.8'' in and when I do I will most likely do the 1.5 inch lift and stay with the 31s for a little extra flex.

super clean lookin yj, congrats.

i would get rid of the body lift myself also. my advice is to drive it around for a little while before you make any decisions, poke around on the forums, and decide what you like before spending money on something you may not like later.

that stupid mount on the dash is for an XM radio. the people i got it from put it on there. but im scared to try to take it off because the glue might mess up the dash.

ive been trying to think of way to mount my GPS there. but havent figure one out yet.

yeah i want to get rid of the body lift and get a suspension lift. but i just got it and i havent really decided what i want yet.

also something seems wrong with the steering, this is the 1st time ive ever owned a jeep so im not positive about that.

but it seems like it has a lot of play in it. im not sure if its because of the tires or something is worn out.

The steering play may be caused from old loose tie rod ends, check those out, new ones might fix most of the play

I'm pretty sure theres a vent for water drainage at the bottom of that cowl. If you clear that then no water should get inside through it.

Is is just me or does it look like that top picture is blocking the wiper fluid sprayers?

ha yeah it does. well ive checked the hose and its clear as could be.

its not a lot of water getting in. its just over night when it rains really hard there will be a like 2 inch water puddle on the passenger side floor. and im positive its coming from my ac some how..

Has anyone ever put a big block chevy in a yj? can the frame, rear end, and etc even hold up to a big bock?

my step dad has two big blocks in the garage and i think it would be insane to put it in a jeep!
