Laxs 89 yj

Here is my yj So ENJOY!!!!!
If you got any questions, comments, or sugestions just let me know.

Okay so i first got a jeep in feb 08'. It was an 85cj-7. It was sitting outside for over 10 years, so it had a lot of rust n i sold it.

Then i found a perfect jeep, it was an 89 wrangler(yj) it has an I6 n a Ax-15 5 spd.I offered 2000 for the jeep and i got it. : ) I was so excited, it came with a hard top, soft top, and a bikini top, Also had full hard doors and soft doors.

i then put the hardtop on for the winter so i didnt get cold.

I found a good deal on 2 hella driving lights from amazon. They were only 40 bucks so i got em.

Then it started snowing so i went out and had a lot of fun in the snow: )

It finally got warm enough to take the doors off, and sometime in between there i bought MossyOak seat cover and a Radio Shack CB

i have also always wanted a windsheild decal that says "its a jeep thing You wouldnt understand" so....

i then took off the hard top off and put on the soft top and full soft doors.

Then i took the top and doors off, : ) and got it a little muddy

a little flexing when i parked off the road to go fishing haha

i also took the tire carrier off

i then got some graduation money, so i did a lot of research and got the Rough Country 4in lift.

Heres a picture of the front halfway done

And then the front done. : )

Okay so there is everything i have done to the jeep.

Now for the plans.
-CB antenna, probably a firestick
-I need to get recovery so i plan on getting the D-ring shackle hitch reciver, and two bolt on d-rings for the front
-Hi-lift jack
-Front bumper with winch plate, stinger and built in d-rings
-Rear bumper with swing out tire carrier and built in d-rings
-8k Winch
Thats the plans for now, i have greater plans that envolve d60s and full widths but that will never happen haha

If you know of anything else i need just let me know and ill add it to the list.

Wow, haven't updated this thing in a long time...

Where to start?

Well, I blew a few ujoints in my rear shaft, so I went with a SYE kit and an XJ shaft, cut down and balanced.

That got a little messy, and stuff didn't get aligned right and I lost reverse. Ended up taking apart my TC again, installed it, and walla REVERSE!!!

For Christmas I got a locker....still haven't installed it though. But should be installing it on the 11th of July.

Well, not much has happened really, got a PA system in the Jeep and a few odds and ends here and there.

The new big thing is at a Jeep show I won a 3in TJ BDS lift....well I talked some people and just picked up a 3.5in BDS lift for FREE!!! Will be installing it soon, as well as my body lift.

Also I painted it gloss black...

I wish I could have shopped around a lot man, but unfortunity I had gotten a fix it ticket and had only ten days to fix it. So I had to go with the fastest shipped and easiest to install.

Thanks

Here is the rear part of the lift done, did that yesterday morning, did the front this morning...I will have to go out and take pictures of that. I need to get three things though,

1. They sent the wrong shocks, so the new ones have been sent but not sure when I will get em.
2. Axle shims, BIG TIME!
3. Steering stabilizer, my jack slipped off the axle and there went my stabilizer.

But anyway, here is the rear picture...

You can also tell on the last picture that I installed my stock flares and then trimmed em up.
