i just did mine last week, i ran my wires from the lites under the cowl.

alot of people just drop the windshield and run them under there..

i didnt want to mess with that, so it was easier to just pull off the wipers and remove the cowl and ran the wires downt the side under the rubber seal, worked out great for me..

as far as the others to the power and lead to the lights i ran thru a rubber gromet under the dash on drivers side (already present) also had already ran my amp power wire thru there as well, so i didnt have to do any cutting, did have to drill small holes for the lights ground wire under the cowl but theres plenty of places to ground them there.

grounded my switch and harness just under the drivers side speaker mounts (already ground there but used speaker mount instead)

lights working fine..

i didnt run my lead to the high beams as the instructions said, i ran them to running lights so i can use the lights without my headlights or high beams having to be on.

ill search for a link from another post.. he put up pics and had a good write up for a JK but still same wiring really.
