i did this on my Chrysler 9.25" on my old dodge. it was ~$80 iirc. it was a P.I.T.A. at the time. but i was doing it along with a gear swap and we didnt get to the l/s portion till late, so it could have just been the circumstances. on the 9.25, we had to spit the spider gears out, drop in the new clutches, then put the spiders back in. the going back in part was the hard part. Chrysler made a special tool to compress the clutches that, of course, we didnt have. iirc we used some different clamps creatively to get it back in. it made the l/s badazz though, after it was done.
i have no idea if the l/s is the same on a dana 35 as it is/was on the chrysler 9.25, but i would assume itd be along the same lines, but you know what they say about assumptions
