There is a fuse you cant take out but I am not sure which one. I'd be interested in finding this out too. And the fuse for that buzzer I'd like to take out as well..

The door switch should have 2 wires about 6" long leading away from it, to a small black connector. Just unplug it.

on my 99 the fuse box behind the glove box the lower right fuse its a red on (I believe) pull it and your interior lights wont come on when you open the doors but they will come on if you switch on the headlight switch.

I installed a switch in my dash and ran the wires to the door fuse. Purchased a mini fuse holder, inserted the door fuse and ran the wires to the door fuse outlet. Works great.

There is a fuse just for the door switches where ever your fuse box is. On my 01 tj it's behind the glove box.

I just keep the fuse out permanently. It's number 4 I believe. Should be in the lower right hand corner. Least that's where it is on my 04. Just get some needle nosed plyers or your fingernails (girly nails) and pull it out. I just keep it in the console.

I put mine back in for the winter with the hard top... No real reason, just did.
