Making a door purchase- have a quick question.

Hey guys (and gals) I have an 88 yj wrangler and was about to purchase some 2 piece soft doors. I have a soft top and wanted to make sure these would fit. The guy says they will fit any yj 87- 95.

He also told me that they have "dowel pins that are for setting the lowers into the Jeeps door hinges." I thought I had strikers on my jeep where the doors fit. I'm a new jeep owner so don't really know all the wrangler lingo either. Anyone know if these will fit?

Thanks a lot!

not sure which years are interchangeable but the hinges are two piece that pull apart easily. Some have a nut on one of the hinge pieces. The hinge halves on the door have pins that stick out and insert into the lower hinge haves on the body

there are two different shapes for the upper doors, so they are not completely interchangeable. your top will eitehr have a rounded corner, or a pointed corner. the soft upper part of your door has to match.
