Thumbs down Manual Locking Hubs

Thinking About Convertinting To Manual Locking Hubs.
I Have A 94yj 4.0. Have Any Of You Done This And Does Your Gas Milage Improve.

From what I have read, can't go larger than 33's with them if your putting them on a D30. Only ones I have seen were from Warn. It should help your mileage some maybe 2-3 mpg's at best......

Thanks Allstar I'm Running 33 Now With 4-11 Gears. I Drive To The Trails And That 2-3 Miles A Gal. Would Pay Off With The Gas Prices In Cali.

Where did you guys get your warns I cant find them any where for my yj. (I looked at 4wd and quad)

Warn Hub Conversions

Looks like I'll be saving for awhile before upgrading my axles haha.

Rusty's tends to be very reasonably priced, but shopping around never hurts. I just know they're there.

Mile Marker Makes A Conversion A Little Cheper In Price But It's Still Exspensive.

My buddy has a ford with manual locking hubs and he says about 1-2 mpg improvement when they are unlocked.
