Mc 2150

So I have a question why would it not be possible to buy smaller venturi's for a 2150 with 1.21 venturi's and just install the equivalent 1.08 Venturi in it?

Has any one done this or am I over simplifying things?

Chief

Yes, if you can "find" the 1.08 venturies, that is possible.

Bit it should still run ok with the 1.21's in it. If that's what they actually are.

My 2150 had 1.34 venturies in it and it performed fine in that respect, but my motor isn't stock either. A stock motor would probably run a little rich is all.

Ok so I found an online resource that I can get the venturi from. And yes mine is running rich I tried re-jetting down but then it lurches and runs hotter even after tweaking the idle and run screws I still get a noticeable stumble at certain speeds I have played with the timing so much trying to get rid of it that I am giving up and going to get smaller Venturi and try that.

Was just wondering if I was over simplifying it.

Thanks

Chief
