Miles per Tank on 4.0L?

Just curious this. I see what people say for MPG's but most of them are 4 cylinders. What about the 6 cylinders. I know mine is not good on fuel being my gauge does not work, until I get this aftermarket one all wired up. Last time I ran out of fuel on the road I had like 180 miles to the tank that was full. I did some offroading and lots of idleing and testing but is that normal? With normal daily driving is that all im getting? Givin I know my tires are not helping ONE bit.

Setup:
91 4.0L Auto (bummer but I may swap in an AX-15 soon)
15x10 Micky T's w/ 31x11.5x15 TSL Swampers

Well I get between 15 to 17mpg x 20g tank = 300-340...but I dare not touch 250 w/o filling up...I hate running out of gas.

4.0l ax15 3.07 gears stock tires or 33x12.5x15.

My jeep is consistant for mileage, it is mostly highway driving I do.

I get about 240 miles average per 20 gallon tank on 33 12.50 and 3:73 gears. Don't trust your odometer unless you have corrected for oversized tires.

330miles to the tank. I have 3.55 gears.. don't know if thats stock or not. I did a test to see how far off my odometer was.. found out it is .2 miles off. I have some math to do to find out what my mileage is... 16.5mpg... was more but got a lift...

I really have no idea, my gas gauge is not even close to accurate so when it "says" 1/2 tank (100+ miles on trip meter) I fill it up.
Also speedo was never calibrated to bigger tires.

Ill get around 240 miles a tank, that's running 35" tires, 4.56 gears, no front disconnect so the DS is always turning.

My XJ goes 310miles to a tank with 33's and 355 gears. It has a 20 gallon tank.

My YJ gets 285 with 3.07's and 35's with a 15 gallon tank.

The most I have gotten out of mine was 210 miles to the tank. I average 200 with 33's and 307 gears, 5 speed. Mostly all city driving with a 15 gallon tank. Costs about the same as my Honda 4cyl. with a 17 gallon tank using premium gas. Regular gas around my parent's neighborhood is now at $2.95!

Unfortunately I get around 150 miles per tank.
That's with 33's and a 2 inch lift going back and forth to work.
