Hey Folks! Thanks for the quick replies! I have not owned a wrangler in about 8 years! The last one went 300,000 without any issues!!! Im just trying to build a small network of folks in the area! The new one is said to have a couple issues, but I won't know till I see it. I'll post when the new jeep arrives!

So....I went to check out this YJ for sale about an hour north of here. The ad was sadly not very indicative of the myriad of things wrong with this YJ. The body was more bondo than metal. Tires were completely bald. The soft top did not fit correctly at all. No heater. furiously leaking out the rear main seal. The Jeep did not run right at all. Sadly disappointed, I passed on it. I did however about a couple hours later find a 1990 comanche pickup with a fuel injected 2.5 in it, and the engine was so clean you could eat off it. Owned by a kid who did All his own wrenching with help from Dad. Aside from needing rocker panels, and some work on the box, its pretty dang solid. I guess Im off to find the Comanche forum.

Sno...Thanks for the offer! But...Im really digging the comanche. I know its not a wrangler, but I think in the long run, it will better suit my needs. All that being said....Any of you Local folks do any body repair/welding? Seems I need to do some metal replacement. Since its off topic of wranglers...Email me direct at lexluthier72@yahoo.com Thanks all!

Hey Folks....I found a welder! (owes me a favor!) so...I was crawlin under the new truck last night, and found a rear pinion seal leak (D35) If anyone has any insight on how to change the seal correctly (alot of gray matter on the internet) Please let me know. I know its not a wrangler, but thought Id put the question out here.
