Mismatched part?

94, 2.5, 5 speed, blah blah blah. Re-doing all the brake lines and hoses...and I ran into a slight problem. I ordered the replacement rear brake hose for 90-95 wranglers, the only one quadratec had, and while it DOES have all the holes necessary where it mounts to the rear axle, the center hole in which the bolt/hose goes down to hold it onto the rear axle...is wayyyy too small, and the block at the end itself is much smaller than the stock part. This...perturbs me. I can probably use the old one again, but I don't particularly want to..anyone have any explanations for what I'm sure is a dumb mistake on my part?

Edit: Also, the connector on this new hose that connects to the steel brake lines is far too big for the stock part.

Your jeep is new enough that you should be able to get replacement parts for the brake lines at your local auto parts store. I don't know your location, so you might not have a auto parts store close.

There's a pep boys (I hate them...) and an autozone...but both are way farther away than the advance. But eh, the hose appears to be in good condition- no swelling or sponginess, or rust on the ends, so I'm probably just going to send the part I ordered back, and use the stock one.
