taker out the track bars.
the leaf springs will do their job.
i drove without them for many years.

do you have the stock suspension? or another one?
how old is your YJ, did the suspension sag?

perhaps you should fill out you signature or tell us a bit more about your YJ.

Do you have a sway bar disconnect? You don't have to remove it, just disconnect it when you want more flex.

4 link and coilovers It's not SOA

The suggestions everyone has given you are about all there is at this point. Other then how tight are the shackle bolts if they do not move neither does the suspension.

Add a leafs will make it ride rougher. I don't know if even removing the sway bars will help because the springs are so stiff. Save your pennies and get some real lift springs. Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted to hear.
