I put on an MC2150....89 Wranlger 6 cylinder... best thing I have ever done to the Jeep. Idles smooth, lots of power, and got 20mpg... granted it was stock and I drive like an old man because I am, but still. It is my DD and I drive it about 50 miles per day to and from work.

Good choice. I got the motorcraft also. Love it. I almost got a weber but my step dad is HUGE ford guy, and has a bronco. We may take his stock air box and fit it into my jeep. I don't like the open filter I have right now, but it works.

Is yours stick? Best thing for mpg is just easy on accelerations that's the main thing that gets you. And when cruising be in 5th. Idk what my gas mileage is it was about 12 but the distributor was bad and got replaced and rebuilt so we will see

Good deal! I'm so happy I got rid of my Carter, but really needed a rebuild and my dizzy was shot lol so I haven't realized the true gains of the mc2150. Is yours nutted?

Oh and the dui dizzy or hei dizzy set up is basically a nutter set up. Just needs 12 volts to it and a wire to the tach! Plus you can open up your spark plug gaps from the factory .035 to something like a .050.
